The climbing season for the Volcán Lanín has started

The emblematic peak in the Neuquén province invites to conquer its summit.

With the arrival of summer and the rising temperatures, the climbing season for the Volcán Lanín is initiated. The peak gives its name to the Parque Nacional Lanín, located southwards of the Neuquén mountain range and approximately 60 kilometers from Junín de los Andes.

To reach its summit, conquering its 3776 meters, is an exciting, yet, feasible adventure. Although a good physical condition is a must, the technical difficulty is low. With the aid of specialized guides who bring in their knowledge and experience, travellers top their venture with unique sightings of the Andean Range, and the satisfaction of seeing the Patagonia unfolding beneath their feet.
